Well I could elaborate about the economics of Brazil today but lets leave that for the experts. I will provide you with as much in-depth information as possible with links and facts in our subsequent pages.
Right now I would like to talk a little bit about the general attractions of my Country.
For many years Brazil has been reknown by its natural beauty, carnival and football. The carnival alone (biggest street party in the world) keeps attracting thousands of tourists each year but the influx of visitors from abroad is extended to all year around because of the perfect weather and nature.
Now, there is another very special attraction which you'll only find out about once you visit the country and that is the "Brazilian People".
Beyond everything else you'll hear about Brazil, miles and miles of white sand beaches, dental floss bikinis, dazzling sunshine almost all year round, parties, samba, football... the one thing I guarantee that will surprise you is the way these people live with simplicity, hope, hospitality and much, much happiness.
I read some statistics that up to 85% of the tourist that visit Brazil each year are attracted first by its weather and natural beauty but the most enchanting thing they find once they are there is the hospitality, the mixture of colors, races, religions that blend together to make the Brazilian Culture.
Throughout the years living in Britain I asked many people that visited Brazil, either on holiday or business what they thought of It, the answer in a nutshell "Great place, good weather, happy people". Happiness which can be perceived throughout the country from the warmth of the northeastern beaches to the exuberant Amazon. From the lively Rio de Janeiro to the more modern and developed - yet traditional and beautiful- southern States with vibrant cities such as Curitiba, Florianopolis and Porto Alegre.
The Brazilian festive spirit, mostly revealed in the Carnival , New Year's Eve and June Parties famous on their liveliness and joy brings out the desire to show every one that still thinks of Brazil as being all about "crime, drugs and poverty", what really is good about it:
"The ability of transforming all this vigor into creativity that constantly flashes about in contagious colors and sounds of all races, religions and cultures. Because life is short, living every day as if it was the last, is something Brazilians know how to do it".
So wether you are looking for a good investment, a holiday place abroad (second home), a place to retire to or, lets say to move to immediately, think of Brazil. It truly is a Country of opportunities. A place where people will be happy to exchange their hospitality and love for whatever you can offer to make everyone lives even better and happier. A place where the cost of living is still low and the quality of life has been improving for decades, today supressing that of many European Countries. The steady migration of people to Brazil looking for a new life has also weighted on the country's lack of major natural disasters ( hurricanes, earthquake, tornados, tsunamis, etc), wars and terrorism.
Lets hope it carries on that way, and that, those who believed in the potential of that great country, be absolutely right to invest in it.
